“I really just had to sit back and do some soul searching. I had to figure out where this music thing was taking me.” To put it plainly, if NOE wasn’t the one of the greatest lyricists bar for bar, he may have have entertained the most powerful leaders in the music industry. Trust me, our conversation on the current state of hip-hop was an amazing one. I spoke with NOE for 15 minutes about the future of music distribution, and we both understood the importance of branding, and trademarks. One of his most noteable talents is his ability to be original. His creativity makes him stand out like an orange backpack.

I did not get a chance to ask him what inspired him to make this record, but he did tell me it was produced by Freek Van Workum, multi-platinum record producer from Germany. As our interview came to a close, NOE revealed to me that he plans to have many more releases. Song or feature, he will be pushing the envelope on his next project! – Harry McRae

There is NOE art like mine – Gladiator!
I’ve been asked by people who know me, “what’s going on with the music Noe?” I tell them that I am the music. My story is genuine. I speak of life, and the continuation of a profoundly expressed art. It is something I cannot abandon. I have emerged from the bricks; victorious, and having the power to triumph over even the most extreme adversities known to man. I am faced with the realities that affect my city. Where I am from says everything. Some people will never know honor, or be put in a position to defend something they feel passionate about.
My path in music is paved by that what is true to me, a struggle well known by those who like myself have been afflicted by what most people on the outside would interpret as the street life. I am not a product of my environment, but my environment itself is a product, which is absorbed by those who can relate to my music. As samurai’s do, I have vowed to stick to a code… one that gives a new meaning to the word gladiator.
The Artist named NOE
Do you know the difference? As was told by Noe himself, “I am the art.” Noe is truly more than what meets your ears. A writer who’s language is so powerful, when hearing his music, you could easily picture the the nature of his environment. – Harry McRae
